Found (prose)

Found

Oh what a wonderful word is found, what joy to be found in a single syllable.
Such resonance the word has in the English language.
Contrasting it with the past tense I see the desperation and the joy in two words.
Find says you must continue the search. It is a promise that the thing you seek must exist.
Find is the rallying call when you feel alone.
We can never be alone so long as there is truth.
The truth that find promises, the truth that there is something to find.
Oh that all words could be as strong and true as these two.
To work with purpose and succeed, is there greater beauty?
In purity there can be no higher call.
Find the knowledge you lack, when you have found it you will know what you missed.
Find the solution you crave, when it is in your hand you will see it was found in the instructions all along.
I claim the glory of both words and take them to my heart.
For I had to find what I needed. Now that I found the truth and have given it a home inside me I must find a way to use it.
Promise and fulfillment.

Author's note: This is a song of joy with a heavy basis on Matthew 7:7 and Luke 11:9. I'm not telling this to you to convert you. If this touched you it might help to read the originals and understand the thought process. There are no new truths, but every age must have it's authors and artists to bring them to the people. Let they who have ears hear.
